The gorgeous golden hue hints at its maturity, yet the elegance praised by Robert Parker (90 points!) is genuinely surprising. Expect notes of caramel mingling with bright citrus, and a remarkably smooth, enveloping texture. It finishes with a long, lingering note of fresh fruit – ideally paired with grilled white fish, perhaps with a squeeze of lemon for an extra burst of flavour.
