Poeira Poeira is a balanced and elegant wine. While most Douro wines are tannin‑driven, Poeira relies on acidity. It is highly drinkable and appealing when young, yet possesses the ability to evolve. I aim for each wine to mirror the vineyards that give it life, preserving its profile while reflecting the annual variations of the vines. Poeira was born in the Terra Feita region. It was treated with lye, aged in French oak barrels, and cared for meticulously. It refused to stay in the ruggedness of its land, instead finding its own character in the coolness.
