The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We generally select brands/regions that perform well in old wine tastings. However, wine is a living organism, like others, exposed to time, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve differently. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle breathe beforehand, as this will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years closed.
