Description

The Ponte de Lima Wine Company was founded in 1959 in Ponte de Lima, Portugal's oldest town. With around 2,000 associate producers, it is one of the largest in the Vinho Verde Region, whose families and workers form the most significant economic and social structure in the municipality. The wines of the company result from the vinification of perfectly ripe grapes of regional varieties grown in its associates' vineyards, ensuring the authenticity and character of genuine Vinho Verde. In the white wines, the Loureiro has a special expression thanks to its magnificent adaptation to the Ribeira Lima terroir, producing a wine highly prized for its aroma and excellent organoleptic qualities. In the reds, the Vinhão stands out, yielding exceptional monovarietal wines; it is distinguished by its unmistakable aroma of red and wild fruits and its refined palate. (Illustrative image only)
