This 2017 Vintage Rosé from the Douro is a delightfully bold experiment – that initial balsamic note certainly sets the stage for something truly memorable. The spices, a natural consequence of the grapes used, add a welcome layer of complexity, and let’s be honest, the fact it’s won awards (no question!) confirms the producer had a very good idea. Pairs beautifully with a grilled fish or a nice steak with a red wine reduction.
