Pousio Selection Rosé

Description

The Herdade do Monte da Ribeira dates back to 1958, and it was acquired in 1986 by industrialist Victor Carmona e Costa, who over the following fifteen years not only completely refurbished the estate but also established the entire current productive agricultural structure and winery. The estate is situated in the parish of Pedrogão, within the municipality of Vidigueira and near the village of Marmelar. It spans roughly 1,100 hectares, devoted to viticulture and forestry. With winemaking as one of the estate’s primary focuses, the first vineyard was planted in 1989, and the first harvest came in 1992, marketed under the Vidigueira brand. Later, the Pousio and Quatro Caminhos brands were added, and more recently, the Marmelar brand. *(illustrative image only)*
