The National Cellar keeps all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet preserves the visual character that comes with age. We usually select brands and regions that perform well in old‑wine competitions. Still, wine is a living organism that ages, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held liable for the wine’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it breathe first, which helps release its natural aromas after many years of closure. Avoid decanting, as it may be too aggressive for old wines.
