Proibido Déjà Vu is a red wine from the Douro region, crafted by winemaker Márcio Lopes. It’s made from traditional grape varieties including Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alvarelhão, and Tinta da Barca, grown on schist soils. The grapes are hand‑harvested and transported in small 18–20 kg boxes, then foot‑trod in a traditional lagar. Fermentation occurs spontaneously over about 30 days, and the wine is aged for 12 months in used oak barrels, resulting in an alcohol content of around 14%.
