“This Quinta Alta from Zuccaro is a wine that genuinely makes you wonder if time itself is playing a trick on you – it’s that exceptional. Harvested in 2019, it’s a masterful blend of over 16 grape varieties, notably the powerful Touriga Nacional and the vibrant Touriga Francesa, grown on a distinctive schistous terroir at elevations between 620 and 710 metres. The meticulous winemaking process, including foot treading and temperature control, truly highlights the character of the grapes. Following a 36-month ageing in French oak barrels, the wine boasts a remarkable elegance. Perfect paired with hearty dishes like a traditional Portuguese *churrasco* or *cozido à portuguesa*, or perhaps alongside a decadent ossobuco risotto.”
