The Quinta da Alorna dates back to 1723, and its name derives from the conquest of the Alorna fort by D. Pedro de Almeida, the first Marquess of Alorna. The estate is located in Almeirim, near the banks of the Tagus River, and stands out not only for the quality of the wines it produces but also for its natural surroundings.
