The Quinta da Alorna dates back to 1723, its name deriving from D. Pedro de Almeida’s conquest of the Alorna fort in India, the first Marquess of Alorna. The estate is located in Almeirim, near the Tagus River, and is celebrated not only for the quality of its wines but also for its natural surroundings.
