Classic red wine, intense, elegant and rich, aged in new French oak barrels for an impressive 50 months, then in bottle for 8 months before release to the market. It displays remarkable aromatic complexity, with dominant notes of dark fruit, wild berry compotes, licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate and spices. On the palate it is silky and delicate. Quinta da Biaia dates back to the 17th century and belonged to Dona Beatriz de Sousa Lopes. Located in the Beira Interior region of Castelo Rodrigo, it spans about 29 hectares of high‑altitude vineyards and is dedicated to the production of organic wines. (illustrative image only)
