This Quinta da Boeira Tawny Reserva is a wonderfully lingering warmth, with notes of caramel that bring to mind cosy winter evenings. The subtle chocolate element adds a touch of elegance, reminiscent of the finest Douro wines – and, of course, it snagged a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2018. Seriously lovely with almond cakes or aged cheeses.
