The bottles of the old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, as a rule, display distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years of being sealed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, be patient to detect the appearance of sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image)
