Quinta da Foz For over 100 years, the vines that supply the grapes for this wine have a rich history. With more than 30 different varieties, this wine benefits from intense longevity potential and a perfect balance between a robust structure and a silky body. We always strive to ensure that this is a great wine. Although it has an irreverent character, the smoothness of its texture and the solid profile of its substance give it a wide range of progression and longevity. The grapes come from one of the oldest plots in our vineyards, over a century old. Fermentation takes place in historic granite mills (lagares) using the traditional foot‑pumping method, with controlled temperature. Maceration lasts 15 days, allowing contact with the skins. The wine ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels that have been carefully selected to ensure typicity, fruitiness, and elegance.
