Founded in 1616, Quinta da Vacaria is one of Portugal’s oldest producers of Dão wines. For centuries, their wines were transported by the famed *rabelo* boats to Vila Nova de Gaia, retaining a certain mystique despite these journeys. Remarkably, only in 2016 were these exceptional, historic wines bottled under the producer’s own brand and seal, marking a triumphant return to their original roots.
