The history of Quinta das Bágeiras is already rooted in the work of three generations; however, it was only in 1989, under the stewardship of Mário Sérgio, that the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras began to be bottled and sold, quickly becoming a benchmark in Bairrada wines and in Portugal. Though crafted following the procedures of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not trend wines, but are always on trend, revealing in each harvest the character of the region and the people who produce them.
