The history of Quinta das Bágeiras already spans three generations, yet it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s guidance, that the estate began bottling and selling its wines, quickly becoming a benchmark for Bairrada and Portuguese wines. Although produced following the traditions of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not trendy, they are always in style, revealing with each harvest the character of the region and the people who create them.
