The history of Quinta das Bágeiras can be traced back to the work of three generations, yet it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s leadership, that the winery began bottling and selling its wines, quickly becoming a benchmark for Bairrada wines and for Portugal as a whole. While still crafted according to the traditions of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not fads; they are always in style, revealing each harvest the character of the region and the people who make them.
