This Douro wine is a delightfully convincing argument for the good fortune of its terroir. The challenging conditions, combined with that perfectly positioned sun exposure, result in a wine that truly embodies the spirit of the region. Careful winemaking, coupled with a six-month ageing in new French oak barrels – which gives it a gorgeous sheen – and further maturation in bottle, simply amplifies its complexity. Absolutely fantastic with black pork, we’re confident!
