The estate that gives the project its name, Quinta das Queimas, is one of the most beautiful and oldest family vineyards. Located on the southeast bank of the Dinha River, with a westward slope, and partially enclosed by an ancient wall, this vineyard boasts a large area of vines planted in the late 1920s. The granite and sandy soil provides an exceptional combination for this vineyard and, subsequently, for the wines produced there. (illustrative image only)
