Description

With estates in the Superior Douro around Almendra, the Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira (CARM) has been linked to the region’s viticulture since the late 19th century. Today the oldest vineyard dates to 1966, and since then new traditional varieties have been introduced and converted to organic production. Since building the cellar in 2004, the wines produced reflect a passion for the land and respect for nature, evoking the soil, schist, limestone, flowers and wild fruits. In a new approach, the wines are also vegan, incorporating ethical and sustainable principles. (illustrative image only)
