Quinta de Arcossó The Quinta de Arcossó owns 0.8 ha, part of a 20 ha estate of century‑old vineyards comprising white, red and rosé varieties. The vines are planted without a formal row orientation and are not trellised. In addition to the vines, the property also has olive trees (not solely along the borders) and other fruit trees, situated at an average altitude of 440 m. The soil is of granite origin. This wine is a faithful blend of red and rosé varieties, with no inclusion of Touriga Nacional or Touriga Franca. **Vinification**: The grapes were harvested on 15 September and vinified in a traditional stone mill, with foot‑pumping. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with only one‑third of the wine spending 4 months in new wood at each change. With each transfer, one‑third of the wine returned to new‑wood barrels and the rest aged in stainless steel. 2,000 bottles were produced, bottling took place in July 2021, and the wine will remain in the cellar for three years. The wine was neither pressed nor filtered, paying homage to the ancestral vines. **Analytical parameters**: Total acidity: 5.2 g/L | Volatile acidity: 0.5 g/L | pH: 3.65 | Residual sugar: 0.6 g/L. **Serving**: Open and decant the bottle some time before serving, at a temperature of 16–18 °C. **Winemakers**: Francisco Montenegro / Amílcar Salgado. **Awards** 18.5/20 – Grandes Escolhas 2026 (2019) **Allergen information** Contains sulfites.
