This Garrafeira from Quinta de Baixo Poeirinho is a truly intriguing wine. It immediately captivates with a nose of spice, red berries, and surprisingly, a hint of tobacco – a detail that adds a remarkable level of sophistication. On the palate, this complexity unfolds beautifully, driven by an incredibly precise acidity that feels almost like a dance, alongside tannins so refined they melt into a warm embrace. A wine that certainly deserved those 94 points awarded by Revista de Vinhos, and one that would pair wonderfully with a good Iberian ham.
