Quinta de Carapeços Late Harvest, one of the Quinta's flagship wines, was the first late‑harvest wine produced in the Vinho Verde region. Several trials revealed that the Espadeiro grape has enormous potential for producing natural sweet wines. After a prolonged wait in the vineyard, the grapes are harvested in February and undergo whole‑berry pressing, yielding a highly concentrated must that undergoes slow fermentation and ageing.
