Quinta de Lemos The Touriga Nacional, an indigenous variety of the Dão region, grows on slopes situated between 350 and 400 meters above sea level. The vineyard is managed under an integrated pest‑management program, with herbicide use prohibited. Pest control is achieved through soil disturbance. Harvesting is carried out manually, picking each bunch at its optimal ripeness, which occurs between the second half of September and the first week of October. Grapes are collected in small 10‑kg baskets. This wine is made by direct pressing of Touriga Nacional grapes. All alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless‑steel tanks at 13 °C.
