This Tinto from Quinta de Lemos, driven by Roriz, certainly has the potential to age gracefully – a wine worth keeping an eye on! Grown on slopes between 350 and 400 metres, and harvested by hand in the second half of September, it delivers a refreshing elegance that’s uniquely characteristic of the Dão’s terroir. After 18 months in French oak barrels, it’s developed a wonderfully refined structure and complexity, and would pair beautifully with hearty game or a slow-cooked beef stew.
