This Dão, nestled high in the Dão valley at 340 metres, clearly had a quiet ambition – to showcase the region’s granite and sandy soils to the fullest. Quinta de Lemos, with its 25 hectares, has masterfully recreated the ideal conditions for a remarkably fresh and balanced wine. It’s a testament to how subtlety can unlock exceptional quality, particularly when it comes to a wine with the distinctive character of the Dão. Perhaps best paired with grilled seabass.
