This Touriga Nacional from Quinta de Lemos really seems to have leaned into the Dão valley’s gifts – 340 metres of granite and sandy soil, and the sheltering mountains. The result is a wine brimming with an incredibly intense floral character, dominated by bergamot and violet. Critics are certainly impressed, awarding it 94 points – and it’s perfectly suited to pairing with roasted white meats or a hearty beef stew.
