The Casa de Cello is a family business that has been cultivating its estates for four generations. In the 1980s, one of the owners, João Pedro Araújo, began professionalising the operation, reorganising the existing structure to implement the best viticultural and enological technologies and truly express Casa de Cello’s terroirs. Located in the heart of Entre‑Douro e Minho, near Amarante, it underwent a complete vineyard restructuring. Today, Quinta de Sanjoanne covers 14 hectares planted with Arinto, Alvarinho, Malvazia Fina, Loureiro, Avesso and Trajadura, producing wines that perfectly capture the terroir of the Vinho Verde region.
