According to its age, wines may show signs of time such as dust in the bottles and/or some label damage—common in vintages that have been stored for decades. The National Cellar keeps all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it preserves the visual character inherent to their age. We typically select labels/regions that perform well in old‑wine competitions. Still, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and aromas evolve even inside a bottle. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held liable for the wine’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it breathe first to release its natural aromas after so many years closed. Avoid decanting, as it can be too aggressive for old wines. (illustrative image)
