The Arintos Trilogy is an exclusive new range from Quinta do Boição. Arinto Pelicular was the first to be released, and it is a true enological gem that brings an innovative and passionate approach. Shaped by the Bucelas terroir, the Arinto grape expresses itself in this wine in a complex and elegant way. After six months of aging in French oak barrels, it reveals an intense golden almost amber colour and a powerful bouquet of country flowers and dried fruits, with prominent chamomile notes. On the palate it combines a silky texture with mineralism and the natural acidity of Arinto, highlighting tones of yarrow tea. Quinta do Boição is located in Bucelas, beside the Ribeira do Boição, and is situated in the renowned Demarcated Region of Bucelas, between the banks of the Ribeira do Boição and the Rio Trancão, covering a total area of 45 hectares, of which 32.5 are dedicated to vineyard cultivation. Determined to pursue a quality policy for the wines produced, Caves Velhas, which later joined the Enoport Wines Group, decided in May 1983 to acquire Quinta do Boição, whose owners had always sold them their production.
