This Siria from Quinta do Cardo is a wonderfully unapologetic expression of the Touriga Nacional – or, as it’s affectionately known here, the Síria. It bursts with ripe black fruit and a subtle spice warmth, a genuine reflection of those Douro slopes. Seriously intense, this wine’s got staying power and would absolutely knock a hearty grilled beef dinner into eleven.
