The Quinta do Castelinho, located in the municipality of São João da Pesqueira, was acquired in 1964 by Manuel Santos, giving rise to Castelinho Vinhos, a family project dedicated to the production of Port and DOC Douro wines. In 2001, the estate became part of Douro Wine Devotion, which already owned the Quinta do Cerro da Nora. After a major renovation in 2005, the Quinta do Castelinho gained a fully renovated cellar equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology, blending tradition and modernity. It is here that grapes from the main Douro varieties are vinified, producing wines that express the Douro's identity through a balance of heritage, innovation, and attention to detail.
