This Quinta do Cotto “Grande Escolha” from the Bairrada region is certainly delivering more than just a straightforward wine. Built around Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, it’s a medium-bodied wine with tannins that are impressively well-integrated – a testament to the region’s character. Expect ripe black fruit notes intertwined with a subtle spice complexity, hinting at a wine that’s matured with a certain grace. It’s a fantastic match for a hearty beef roast or a stuffed kid, and, as recognised with a well-deserved 93 points in “Vinho e Spetáculo”, it's clearly a wine worth seeking out.
