With 50 hectares, Quinta do Covão delivers the perfect balance between landscape and vineyard. Rows of vines, integrated into slopes covered with native vegetation and shaped by the mountainous terrain, give rise to plots of unique identity. The estate’s vineyards—the only Dão vines grown on terraces—stretch between 100 and 600 meters above sea level. This profile, combined with an extreme climate, defines the authenticity of its wines. The agronomic and viticultural work respects the heterogeneity of the soils, enhancing the essence of the terroir. Each plant is managed individually so that the grapes faithfully express their origin.
