Quinta do Covão The wines from Quinta do Covão are structured, rich in texture, firmness and aroma. Sophisticated, full of freshness, fluidity and adaptability. Individual and elegant, each wine strives to be unique, representing a strong concept, a belief, and a tribute. They evoke the classic identity of the Dão and reveal the full potential of the region. With 50 hectares, Quinta do Covão embodies the perfect balance between landscape and vineyard. Rows of vines, integrated into slopes covered with native vegetation and shaped by the mountainous terrain, give rise to plots of unique identity. Its vineyards, the only ones in the Dão grown on terraces, spread between 100 and 600 metres in altitude. This profile, combined with an extreme climate, defines the authenticity of its wines. The agronomic and viticultural work respects the heterogeneity of the soils, enhancing the essence of the terroir. Each plant is managed individually so that the grapes faithfully express their origin. Thus, each harvest is the true reflection of the vineyard where it was born, the result of a perfect combination of climate, soil, altitude and human dedication.
