**Quinta do Crasto Designation of Origin: Douro** **Vintage** The 2025 harvest was marked by a hot, dry climate, with precipitation below average and periods of intense summer heat. Mild pressure in spring and water stress contributed to a lower yield and smaller berries. Harvest began mid‑August, and the milder temperatures of September favored a more uniform maturation. The white wines stand out for their aromatic expression, freshness, well‑integrated acidity, and balance, revealing a very promising quality potential. **Vinification** 60 % Viosinho; 40 % Verdelho. The Douro Superior grapes were transported in 22 kg boxes and strictly selected upon arrival at the cellar. After destemming and pressing, the must decanted in stainless steel at 8 °C for 48 hours. Fermentation started in stainless steel and finished in French oak barrels at 14 °C, over roughly 45 days. **Aging** 6 months in French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage over fine lees. 85 % in French oak barrels and 15 % in French oak barrels with acacia tops. Of the total, 50 % of the barrels were new and 50 % were used. **Technical Information** - Vine age: over 20 years - Exposure / Soil / Altitude: North‑East; Granite and Slate; 450–600 m - Systematization: Vinha ao Alto; Vinha in terraces of 1 and 2 bardos - Winemaking: Cátia Barbeta; Manuel Lobo - Bottling: June 2026 **Analytical Data** - Total acidity: 6.1 g/L - pH: 3.33 - Total sugars (glucose + fructose): 0.71 g/L **Awards** - 91 / 100 – Best of Portugal 2026 Report – Tim Atkin (UK / 2026) (2023) - 91 / 100 – Wine Advocate / Robert Parker (US / 2025) (2023) - 90 / 100 + Highly Recommended – Revista de Vinhos (Portugal / 2024) (2023) - 89 / 100 – Wine Spectator (US / 2024) (2023) - 17 / 20 – Revista Grandes Escolhas (Portugal / 2024) (2023) - Gold Medal – Festival de Vinhos do Douro Superior 2024 (Portugal / 2024) (2022) - 90 / 100 + Silver Medal – Decanter World Wine Awards 2024 (UK / 2024) (2022) - Commended – International Wine Challenge (UK / 2024) (2022) - 90 + / 100 – Wine Advocate / Robert Parker (US / 2024) (2022) - 17 / 20 – Jancis Robinson (UK / 2024) (2022) - 89 / 100 – Wine Enthusiast (UK / 2024) (2022) - 17 / 20 – Revista Grandes Escolhas (Portugal / 2023) (2022) - 90 / 100 – Wine Advocate / Robert Parker (US / 2023) (2022) - Silver Medal – Vinum Wine Competition, White Wine Blends category (Switzerland / 2024) (2021) - Gold Medal – Festival de Vinhos do Douro Superior (Portugal / 2023) (2021) - “Escolha do Mercado” Award – Category PVP above €12 (Portugal / 2023) (2021) - Silver Medal – Concurso Vinhos de Portugal (Portugal / 2023) (2021) **Allergen Information** Contains sulfites. **SKU:** 104488
