This Encontro, from Quinta do Encontro and the masterful Osvaldo Amado, clearly benefited from a rather intense approach. The Baga and Arinto grapes, quintessential to the Bairrada region, express themselves with remarkable finesse. The fermentation at a cool 18°C ensures the full potential of the grapes is unlocked – a key factor, no doubt, in its award from Grandes Escolhas. Absolutely brilliant with grilled fish or seafood, wouldn’t you agree?
