This sparkling wine from Quinta do Gradil is a delightful surprise – showcasing Arinto and Chardonnay with a finesse you wouldn’t expect from the heart of Lisbon. The clay-rich soils and Atlantic influence deliver a wonderfully vibrant acidity, achieved through careful hand-harvesting and cold maceration, further enhanced by 30 days on the lees (bâttonage). It’s no surprise it earned a respectable 16.5 points and a ‘Grande Escolha’ – a truly deserving wine. Absolutely fantastic with roasted pork or seafood, but we secretly find it’s best enjoyed during a special moment.
