Quinta do Gradil A Geographical Indication Lisbon is one of Portugal’s most important wine regions in terms of vineyard area and production. The region, formed by gentle, low-relief hills, stretches from the capital northward to Pombal along the coast, in a strip never wider than 40 km. It is a multifaceted area that includes a variety of traditional and modern origin designations, each with distinct characteristics. The climate is temperate with Atlantic influence: summers are relatively mild, cooler and more humid near the sea, and warmer and drier in areas sheltered by the Montejunto mountain range. Fermentation occurs in the Galilleu—a spherical cement vessel—over fine lees for six months, undergoing natural bâtonnage driven by pressure and temperature differences. Allergen information Contains sulfites. SKU: 105681
