This "Javali" Reserva certainly seems to have matured gracefully, boasting a colour that hints at things to come. You get rich notes of blackcurrant and strawberry jam, reminiscent of a particularly well-preserved preserve, alongside a subtle spice that beautifully balances the fruit. The blend of Touriga Nacional and Aragonez provides a wonderfully textured and structured wine with a lingering finish – and a touch of vanilla. It would pair wonderfully with grilled beef, a truly harmonious combination.
