This rosé from Quinta do Montalto Medieval, born straight from the slopes of Ourém, is a delightfully cheeky reminder that tradition can have a surprisingly refreshing twist. The flavours of fresh strawberries and spicy raspberry, characteristic of the local red and white grape varieties, dance alongside a wonderfully vibrant acidity – a true reflection of the region’s limestone terroir. A wine that’s practically begging for grilled fish or a summer salad, and, let’s be honest, the judges at the Reconhecimento de Qualidade certainly seemed to agree!
