This “Cima Tempo” from Quinta do Sobreiró is still finding its feet – a vibrant ruby colour hinting at a youthful exuberance. Dominated by Touriga Nacional, the aromas are deliciously ripe black fruit, with a surprising floral lift that adds a lovely freshness. On the palate, the finish is impressively long, and the balance is, naturally, flawless – a quality that earned it the coveted Golden Prize of Trás-os-Montes. Seriously, it would pair brilliantly with grilled beef – the wine’s intensity will really sing alongside the meat.
