With a clear appearance and a citrine hue tinged with greenish tones, this is a young white wine made from Arinto, Bical and Chardonnay grapes. It offers an intense aromatic profile on the nose and a mineral character on the palate, while the residual taste remains fresh and pleasant. Located in the parish of Vacariça, in the municipality of Mealhada, Quinta do Valdoeiro was acquired by the Messias family in the 1940s. Starting in 1985, Messias—already committed to controlling raw materials for the production of high‑quality wines—gradually reconverted the vineyards of Quinta do Valdoeiro. Today the estate covers 130 hectares, of which 70 are devoted to viticulture. The property lies within an integrated protection zone, where vine pests are managed through environmentally safe methods. (illustrative image only)
