The Ferreirinha estates are probably the most emblematic of the Douro. Among them, Quinta do Vale Meão carries an enormous symbolism, having been conceived as a project from scratch, as the estate was purchased on virgin land. By its own merits, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of the most interesting and coveted wines of Portugal. It deserves recognition for the quality it delivers in every vintage it is released.
