This Bairrada Sauvignon from Quinta dos Abibes is delightfully disarming – you genuinely question if it’s *really* Sauvignon! It’s a remarkably vibrant wine, boasting a citrusy punch and a wonderfully insistent acidity. You get a strong sense of the region’s chalky limestone terroir, with notes of herbs and a genuine freshness. Apparently, it snagged a 93-point score from Revista de Canais, and would be absolutely perfect with a grilled fish to cleanse the palate.
