This Espadeiro, born on the Quinta dos Carapeços, is a truly remarkable Vinho Verde – a little piece of history, really. Harvested in February as is the custom, it presents a gorgeous amber hue, immediately hinting at notes of dried figs and raisins – a deliciously decadent temptation. The wine boasts a fantastic balance of freshness and acidity, culminating in a remarkably long finish. Seriously, it’s quite refined! I'd pair it with some aged cheeses or, if you’re feeling adventurous, with a good quality cured ham.
