Quinta dos Castelares In the heart of the Douro International Natural Park, in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, we produce this Quinta dos Castelares Manuel Caldeira Branco from the best grapes selected by Casa Agrícola Manuel Joaquim Caldeira. The wine is hand‑fermented in French oak barrels using traditional Douro varieties: Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, and Gouveio. Harvest is hand‑picked, and the whole bunches are gently pressed. Fermentation is temperature‑controlled at 16 °C, followed by partial fermentation in new fine‑grained French oak barrels and a fining stage with fine lees stirring. For this vintage, 2,333 bottles were produced. Allergen information: contains sulfites.
