This Douro white from Quinta dos Espinheiros is a truly remarkable wine, a testament to age-old winemaking. It’s a fascinating blend of over 15 indigenous grape varieties, nurtured by the estate’s ancient vineyards. Following a period in French oak – utilising the subtle “bâtonnage” technique – the wine has developed incredible complexity and a pronounced mineral character, quite a burst on the palate.
