Quinta dos Espinheiros Reserva Vinhas Velhas red is produced from more than 25 different grape varieties, sourced from the property's old vines. Fermented in granite lagares and then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, it displays an intense ruby colour. Its aromas of wild red berries, woodland notes, fine spices and tobacco are impressive for their freshness and complexity. On the palate, it reveals elegance, with silky tannins and an excellent body, enveloped by notes of wild berries. The finish is balanced, fresh and persistent. Quinta dos Espinheiros is a wine and olive oil estate located in the Douro region of Portugal. Spanning 10 hectares, the estate offers a breathtaking view over the vineyards and the Douro River.
